Flatten/Copy Clearance SMU's to New Hierarchy

With the new hierarchy introduced in June 2020, products that are to be “carried-over” into future seasons, must be copied into the new hierarchy.  This is a one-time event, but if not done properly, the product will be miscategorized.  After you copy the new hierarchy, then from there on the product will be carried over into the relevant seasons.  Again, this copy process is done only once per work number.

BACKPACKS

• Navigate to the new season you wish to copy the product into
• Go to Actions and select Copy / Link Product From Season
• Select the season you with to copy the product from
• Click “Choose” for the appropriate product
• On the next screen:
  • Select the Appropriate Product Type (never choose Adidas/Backpacks or Adidas/SMU & Clearance) – This must be correct

• Step 1:  Relationship Type should default to Clearance-Inline.  Ensure a relationship type is populating.  If it is not – then STOP.  This must be present for the copy to work
• Step 2:  Select all Product Options
• Click Next

Update required fields

• Product line – Bags and Socks will have multiple options.  Ensure you choose the correct product line
• Collection
• Silhouette
• Brand

• Click Next.  Note, the copy function may take some time
• Product/Season Attributes
  • Validate the Type equals Carryover.  If not change to Carryover
  • Update any other values

• Click "Save and…" in the top right corner
