Create Line Boards

Prerequisites

User should have access to the season for which line board needs to be generated.

Navigating to Line Boards

1. Go to Site->My Seasons and click on season’s list dropdown.

1. From the seasons list, click on the season for which the line board needs to be generated.

1.  Click on Line Boards icon.

1. Line Boards page opens for the selected season.

Creating new Colorway Board

1. Click on New button.

1. Create New Board page opens.

Enter the name of the board and set the other attributes as per your need and how you would like to see the Colorway board information.

Select Level as Colorway for Colorway board. (This would get images from colorway thumbnails)

The above attributes can be used to create the best fit for the color board on a page.

• Cells per row would set the number of images which would fit in a row.
• Rows per page will fit the selected number of rows in one page.
• Text layout would print the attributes selected in the view at the selected location of the image.
• Page Orientation can be either Landscape or Portrait.
• Page Size can be chosen as per the need you would like to print the colorway board.
• Select Use Borders to Yes if you would like to set the outline for each image cell else select it as no.

1. Once attribute information is filled, click on Create button on the top right corner. New Colorway Board is created.

Adding Colorways to generate Line Board

1. Once the Colorway Board is created, click on Add Colorways to Line Board button.

1. New page opens to choose the Colorways.* User can use the filter criteria to narrow down the results.

1. Select the Colorways which you like to add to Colorway Board and Click on Select button.

1. The selected Colorways are added to the unused section as highlighted.

1. Now select the Colorways which you would like to add to active sectionand click on the Right arrow icon.

1. The Colorways are added to Active section which are used for Colorway Board generation

1. The Colorways can be reordered by using toggle up, toggle down button and can be removed from active section by using left arrow button.The results before and after using the toggle button are shown in below 2 screen shot for reference.

1. Colorways of one Product are grouped and are separated by a Page Break with the colorways of other Products.

Setting layout of Line Board

1. Layout of the pdf is set by changing the Layout attributes as per the requirement.

1. Modify the attribute information and select the View. Now click on save button to save the layout settings and the View for this colorway board.

Preview and Generate Line Board pdf

1. Navigate to Line board which you want to generate.
2. Select the Colorway Board. Now select the Views by clicking on the drop down option next to Views. It is mandatory to select the View.

1. The page is refreshed after selecting the View. Now click on Preview button.

1. New tab opens on the screen to show the Preview on how the pdf is going to be generated.

1. Now click on Generate PDF icon next to View button.

1. A pop up comes on the screen to Open, Save or Cancel the pdf generation.
2. Choose the appropriate option.
3. To generate Line Board pdf for another Colorway Board or Views for the same season, repeat step 3 to Step 7.

Troubleshooting Line Board generation

1. A line board won’t generate if a view is not selected and error message would come as shown in below screen shots.View is mandatory for both Preview and View. You select a view, save the Line board as explained in Setting layout of Line board section.

1. Line Board fails to show thumbnail image if Colorway thumbnail image does not exist for the generated set of one or more Colorways. User needs to check for colorways not having thumbnails from the line board preview page as shown below. Thumbnail images need to be updated for colorway to avoid this issue.
